ASA Relaunches Voice of the Contractor Survey

Originally launched in 2023, ASA’s Voice of the Contractor survey is back to capture how contractor perspectives may have shifted over time. By relaunching this initiative, ASA aims to compare year-over-year insights and better understand evolving trends across the PHCP-PVF industry.
 

The survey gathers feedback from plumbing, mechanical, and industrial/mechanical pipe, valves, and fittings contractors on key topics such as purchasing habits, expectations from distributor partners, training needs, inventory challenges, and more.
 

As with the initial launch, ASA is collaborating with industry partners—including the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC), Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), and Plumbing & Mechanical magazine—to help distribute the survey and maximize participation. The survey is being conducted by Farmington Consulting Group, which will analyze the data and publish results later this year.
