The Power of Servant Leadership
Speaker: Rick Kyte
The key to effective leadership is simple: engaging others in meaningful commitment to a shared purpose. But what is simple to describe may be difficult to put into practice. Rick Kyte’s presentation describes the principles that inform servant leadership and provides practical advice for becoming more of a servant leader in one’s own life. Rick is the endowed professor and director of the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He writes a regular column on “The Ethical Life” that appears in 72 newspapers and hosts a weekly podcast.
