In this expanded leadership role, Clark will oversee ASA’s educational initiatives and training programs, helping shape and execute the association’s education strategy in alignment with its mission to strengthen the industry and support the success of its members. Clark joined ASA in 2025 as Program Development Manager, focusing on expanding the association’s Master of Distribution Management (MDM) certificate program and strengthening its Emerging Leaders Division. Under her leadership, MDM has experienced significant growth, not only in enrollment but also in the breadth of its participants’ professional backgrounds, with each class representing a broader range of companies, professional roles and industry experience. Building on that momentum, in her new position, Clark will play a key role in advancing ASA’s efforts to help member companies attract, develop, and retain a skilled, diverse and high-performing workforce. Through innovative education programs, professional development resources and career pathway initiatives, ASA is committed to building a talent pipeline that positions the industry for long-term growth and success. “Education and workforce development are among ASA’s most important areas of value to our members, and Laura will play a critical role in advancing that commitment,” said ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi. “With initiatives such as our new People Advantage program, Project Talent, and the continued evolution of MDM and ASA University, we have significant opportunities to strengthen our industry’s ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Laura brings the strategic mindset, experience, and leadership needed to move these efforts forward and make a meaningful impact for our members and the industry.” Clark brings a strong professional background in marketing, sales, political fundraising, and campaign management. Her experience in strategic communications, relationship development and executing initiatives will be valuable as ASA continues to expand its education and training offerings and develop resources that support career growth across the industry. Under Clark’s leadership, ASA will continue to build on its commitment to education as a strategic investment in the industry’s future—equipping member companies with the knowledge, resources, and talent development tools they need to compete, grow, and lead.
