ASA West Summit 2026

The ASA WEST Summit continues its mission in 2026 as the leading platform for education, peer-to-peer networking, and the exchange of best practices among professionals across the western U.S. region. The Summit empowers industry leaders by fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in leadership, all while advancing member success.

Now firmly established as a premier regional networking event, the ASA WEST Summit attracts key personnel from top distributors across 11 western states—Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. It also brings together supplier and representative agencies, as well as allied and industry partners.

USS Midway, San Diego



Conference attendees will enjoy a networking dinner on the USS Midway, the longest-serving aircraft carrier in the 20th century. Built in only 17 months, Midway was named after the Battle of Midway of June 1942.
 

NOTE: Roundtrip transportation from the Hilton to the USS Midway will be provided.

Paul is also a 2x bestselling author of The Power of Playing Offense and Better Decisions Faster. Paul will talk to ASA West Summit attendees about playing offense in defensive environments, how to win customers, making better decisions faster and scaling a championship culture.

Workshop: AI DIY: Steps to Creating AI As a Core Competency in Your Organization

Speaker: Graham Walker

Graham Walker is a sales-focused strategist connecting SaaS solutions, practical artificial intelligence applications, and marketing to drive revenue through innovation. He is known to say "tell me about a gap you have and I'll come up with an interesting way to fill it." Graham is known for his passionate curiosity to explore new frontiers in AI and apply them in practical and innovative ways. During this workshop you will learn what agentic AI automation is and why it is changing the future of work, why it’s not as hard as you might think to develop or hire AI talent, plus attendees will see the live build out of an AI app.

ASA West Summit attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with their peers and discuss best practices, industry challenges and how to solve them. Attendees will be provided with a post-show report on the group’s discussions and findings.

KEYNOTE SESSION

How to Overcome Obstacles to Reach Your Greatest Potential
Speaker: Lt Col Dan Rooney
 

Lt Col Dan Rooney is a force for good — a highly decorate F-16 fighter pilot with three combat tours in Iraq and the founder and CEO of Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and 

first responders. Dan will talk to ASA West Summit attendees about a daily pathway for clarity of purpose, fulfillment and pressing through life storms. His keynote will incorporate leadership, fighter pilot lessons, Folds of Honor, unlocking talents through faith and embracing resistance with a resilient spirit.

Hotel Accommodations: Room reservation information will be included in the registration confirmation email. You must be registered to attend to book a room in the official ASA West room block.

Note: Guest rooms have been contracted for the nights of Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13. If you need additional nights outside of that timeframe, please contact the hotel to make reservations.
