The University of Industrial Distribution is holding a second session in 2008.

Every year ASA Education Foundation proudly co-sponsors the University of Industrial Distribution.  The UID is well recognized as the most comprehensive education program for early and middle management in the distribution industry.  The four-day program allows attendees to select from a curriculum of more than 30 courses on the key distribution subjects like sales, sales management, operations, finance, marketing personnel management and other critical to distribution success. This is a very popular program that sells out early every year.

ACCREDITATION

Earn a Professional Certificate in Industrial Distribution
UID students can apply their course work toward earning the Professional Certificate in Industrial Distribution awarded by Purdue University.  As an industrial distribution professional, the Professional Certificate recognizes achievements and commitment to education. This continuing education certificate can be earned upon the completion of 90 hours of instruction that meets the requirement of 9 Continuing Education Units [CEUs]. There are no additional fees to attain the certificate.

Karl E. Neupert Endowment Fund Support for UID attendees
ASA members in good standing will receive a $200 scholarship rebate for each employee they send to the UID who attends and completes the entire program.  There is no need to apply for this rebate.  It will be sent automatically by the ASA Education Foundation to the sending companies after verification of the employees attendance has been received from UID.  This is usually sent about six weeks after completion of the program.  The scholarship rebate will apply to both the spring and fall sessions of the UID.
