Advance Your Knowledge | Codes & Standards

Codes and Standards at the Federal, State and local levels have a significant impact on the products and services our members provide to the marketplace. ASA is committed to ensuring the voice of our members is heard in the development of all codes and standards covering plumbing, HVAC and PVF markets. We fulfill this commitment through a dedicated ASA staff and volunteer codes and standards committee that are responsible for actively participating on committees, taking proactive positions beneficial to the ASA members, and soliciting ASA member feedback on a continual basis.

Jim Kendzel, MPH, CAE, serves as the Vice President of Advocacy for ASA and has extensive experience in the development of national and local codes and standards. Jim is excited about serving the ASA membership by actively participating on key committees and is available to help you with codes and standards issues you may have. You can contact Jim at jkendzel@asa.net or give him a call at 630-467-0000 ext. 217
