The annual Legislative Fly-In is a coordinated event with ASA members and industry leaders traveling to Washington, D.C., to meet with key decision makers regarding policy decisions that are being made at the federal level that will impact your business and our industry. It’s one of the best ways to have a direct impact on what goes on in our nation’s capital. Commit to Participate So many people shy away from going to Washington, D.C., to meet with their elected leaders. However, past attendees tell us how excited they were that Members of Congress actually wanted to hear from them on how they felt on issues. Make the COMMITMENT to attend the annual Legislative Fly-In, and see how easy it is to make a difference. It's Easy to Participate ASA will provide you with complete briefings on all the issues that you will discuss with your elected representatives along with issue packets that will be prepared in-advance. In addition, you will be briefed on what to expect in your meetings, including the “Dos” and “Don’ts” of meeting with your Representatives and Senators. Strength in Numbers In many cases, you will be with fellow ASA members or staff in your meetings, so there will be strength in numbers.
